Guy Lev, MSPT
Guy is a recent addition to the JointWorx family. He's been a proud resident of the Vail Valley since 1998, when he moved here from Boston. Like many of us, he came for the winter, and stayed for the summers.
Guy originally moved to the valley to be a snowboard and ski instructor. He specialized in adaptive snowboarding and sit-skiing, rode for the Vail demonstration team and generally harvested as much powder as was humanly possible. He received his full snowboard certification in 2001, and is still active in teaching adaptive skiing and snowboarding.
Guy chose to practice Physical Therapy because it offers an integrated approach to healing, combining holistic medicine with research-proven Western techniques to create an optimal environment for the body to heal from injury through education, rehabilitation, and manual techniques. Practicing Physical Therapy in the Vail Valley combines Guy's love for people, athletics, the great outdoors, and the adaptive world.
He spent the last 4 years being crammed full of information at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, where he received his Masters in Physical Therapy in May of 2005. He is currently completing his Doctorate of Physical Therapy, which will be awarded, given that it does not drive him insane first, in May of 2006.
Guy enjoys the international atmosphere of the valley. As a child, he was dragged around the world by his parents, and has since developed a taste and a passion for traveling. He is fluent in both Hebrew and French, and occasionally butchers several other languages.
